Jenny never catches a break. Fans of the ship of Jenny/Nate never get a break either it seems. I was hoping for a kiss. Alas we didn’t recieve one and I’m left not liking Nate more and more. It seems they’re trying to make people dislike Jenny, does anyone else get that feeling?
I’ve added captures from last night’s episode, hope everyone enjoys them.
Looks like Little J is taking more chances to get the boy she wants (and as a Nate/Jenny shipper? I have to say I’m happy about this – even though it won’t go well)
GOSSIP GIRL “Dr. Estrangeloved” Season 3 Episode 19 – When Lily’s (Kelly Rutherford) ex-husband, Dr. William van der Woodsen (Baldwin), shows up unexpectedly in Manhattan, Serena (Blake Lively) finally gets the reunion she has so desperately wanted with her father, but the circumstances turn out to be far from ideal. When Serena and Nate (Chace Crawford) continue to have relationship issues, a scheming Jenny (Taylor Momsen) is more than happy to be a shoulder for Nate to lean on. Meanwhile, Dan (Penn Badgley) finds out that he didn’t get accepted into the Tisch writing program and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) admits she may have been somewhat responsible. Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick and Matthew Settle also star. Darnell Martin directed the episode written by Robert Hull
Actress Taylor Momsen is best known to audiences as Gossip Girl‘s rebellious Jenny Humphrey. But the 16-year-old is hoping that soon people will also see her as a rock star. Momsen and her band, the Pretty Reckless, are set to drop their debut album this summer and have recently released their first single, “Make Me Wanna Die,” which is on the Kick-Ass soundtrack. EW chatted with Momsen about this new career path.
EW: Your band, the Pretty Reckless, has a song (“Make Me Wanna Die”) on the Kick-Ass soundtrack.
Taylor Momsen: It’s a tragic love song. It’s Romeo and Juliet—can’t live without your lover so you die. It’s the Pretty Reckless’ first single. We just shot a video for it, but I don’t wanna say too much. It fits the song. It’s very dark.

Taylor Momsen’s character on Gossip Girl may design clothes that she wants her peers to wear, but don’t you dare copy Little J’s style in real life. She thinks it’s creepy.
According to Contact Music, Momsen discussed her thoughts on teenage girls dressing like her.
“It’s flattering, but it’s weird. People have my haircut, my make-up, they literally look like a version of me. It’s cool to be inspired by someone, but I think you’ve got to find a way to make it your own and not just copy.”
While we agree that fashion inspiration is better kept as inspiration, given Momsen’s fan base of tweens and just barely teens, it seems a little harsh of a statement. And besides, I’m not quite sure that overuse of eyeliner and stringy platinum hair is really “your haircut” and “your makeup.” I’m pretty sure it was Blondie’s.
Be grateful my heroin-chic gossip girl. While copying isn’t necessarily fashion’s sincerest form of flattery, your widespread fashion icon status (while it may confuse us), should make you proud, not “weird.”

Taylor talks about how she loves to have the musical control and how being on a talent show would have ruined her
Taylor Momsen says appearing on a TV talent show would have “destroyed” her.
The 16-year-old is well known for her part as Jenny Humphrey in US drama Gossip Girl, and also fronts rock band The Pretty Reckless. She loves music and singing, but insists she would never have tried out for a show like American Idol or The X Factor as she would have hated it.
“I doubt I would have done one of those shows, because I’m involved in everything, am too opinionated and care too much to hand over control,” she explained. “I have to have my say, so a show like that would probably have destroyed me. I can’t face the world with a record that isn’t totally me and that I’m not totally confident with, because my music is who I am.”
Taylor says she is different to a lot of artists because she writes all her own songs and is involved with every aspect of her career. She doesn’t understand how some people can sing tracks penned by others, as she has to feel the emotions to make it sound believable.?”You’re hearing my voice and my words,” she told Company magazine. “People who have a label writing their songs and telling them how to dress are doing it for fame and money. I think that’s bad.”

Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen has reportedly revealed that she is “not really close” to her co-stars on the US show.
The 16-year-old actress, who plays rebel Jenny Humphrey on the hit show, also sings in band, The Pretty Reckless, which recently released their first single.
Her Gossip Girl co-star Leighton Meester is reportedly also breaking into music and Momsen was asked whether she talks about music with her.
Momsen told Entertainment Weekly: ‘No. I’m not really close with my cast[mates]. We’re all cordial and nice to each other, but we’re not really friends outside of the set.
‘And we’re all doing a different things.’
